    The Director of Talent Acquisition will provide full cycle recruitment in support of Ryman Hospitality’s Corporate and Opry Entertainment Group functions to include executive, manager and front-line positions. Act as a Talent Advisor providing talent and market intelligence to the company’s business leaders. The Director will explore and implement practices that allow the company to attract “best in class” talent. Critical to achieving success in this role is the ability to build strong business relationships and deliver results in a rapidly changing and evolving environment.


    • Lead, energize, and drive recruitment efforts to deliver high touch service to clients
    • Manage full lifecycle recruitment and develop creative and innovative strategies for sourcing and acquiring top talent. Develop recruitment initiatives, services, and solutions that align with the strategic direction of the organization.
    • Collaborate with key HR professionals and business leaders and establish relationships with senior leaders and client groups to fully understand their objectives. Provide service with a consultative orientation, attention to detail, follow up and follow through.
    • Build relationships with key internal/external partners to assure that our outreach is inclusive and our talent pipelines are rich and diverse.
    • Develop an employer brand proposition and campaign that promotes our culture in order to better attract candidates
    • Coach and counsel leadership around talent acquisition strategies in order to increase their proficiency and engagement in sourcing and attracting top talent.
    • Explore synergies and efficiencies across the Ryman Hospitality and Opry Entertainment Group teams. Continue to integrate smart sourcing behaviors into all activities of the team.
    • Establish an evidence based approach to analyzing activity and trends through appropriate data collection and metrics along with anecdotal summaries of market intelligence.


    • 7+ years of progressive recruitment experience
    • Demonstrated expertise sourcing, recruiting and placing talent from a multi-source pipeline including internal candidates, Internet scouring, networking, direct application, and cold calling methodologies
    • Expert knowledge in full lifecycle recruitment, including thorough pre-qualification screening, behavioral interviewing and closing professional level candidates across multiple levels and disciplines
    • Solid knowledge of legal issues and requirements of employee labor laws, ensuring the organization develops appropriate policies and implements systems that are legally compliant
    • Strong client focus with superior communications and negotiation skills
    • Proficiency in successfully handling and resolving issues, disagreements and disputes that impact or impede relationships between recruiting team and clients/partner.
    • Expertise in suggesting and selling new and effective alternatives to current recruitment practices based on business dynamics and needs. Effective in presenting oneself as a business partner to gain trust and respect of clients
    • Expertise in managing and prioritizing the intake of new job requisitions to gain efficiencies and set clear expectations for deliverables with hiring manager
