Overview

The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative functions to assist with the daily operations of the department.  They will meet and greet all people who use the Ryman administrative offices and disseminate correct information as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and direct all people visiting Ryman administrative offices to needed area
  • Answer phones and provide information to callers
  • Perform administrative duties to support departmental management including managing calendars and scheduling appointment
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering office supplies
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email
  • Screen donation requests and donate per Ryman Hospitality Properties guidelines
  • Send thank you notes, maintain Christmas Card List and order flowers
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:           

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:        

  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience required. 
  • Experience in hospitality industry or related department preferred. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications required. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
