  • Overview

    The Restaurant Manager is responsible for all daily operational and guest experiences for the Opry Entertainment Group’s newest iconic experience, Ole Red (a restaurant, bar and entertainment destination) located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. This position works hand in hand with the GM on development, implementation and execution of the business strategies. This will include all aspects of unit operations: service strategy, operational budget and sales strategies, culinary, restaurant/bar and banquets/catering. This individual will grow revenue and maximize the financial performance of Ole Red through the delivery of outstanding products and exceptional service.


    • Manage and develop 20+ employees by communicating performance expectations and preparing/conducting timely performance appraisals 
    • Actively participates in the recruitment strategy, hiring efforts and new hire on-boarding for hourly positions
    • Provides leadership and support for Ole Red Oklahoma by creating the appropriate culture and character of the venue through his/her own personal and professional conduct
    • Works with GM in preparing annual budgets, as well as strategies for revenue growth and cost control measure to ensure all financial goals are met
    • Assists with responsibility for P&L oversight/management
    • Works with GM on physical facility to ensure proper maintenance and repair
    • Ensure positive guest service in all areas
    • Create and maintain strong community involvement and partner presence to promote customer engagement with Ole Red Tishomingo
    • Ensures that all special events are executed properly, to the client’s satisfaction
    • Facilitates proper communication within the restaurant, as well as to and from the corporate office
    • Ensures compliance with company standards to maintain a working environment that is free of discrimination and harassment
    • Provides conflict resolutions in a positive, effective manner



    • College degree is preferred. Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. 
    • A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.

    Experience, Skills & Abilities:

    • 3 years of restaurant management experience required
    • Experience opening a new restaurant preferred
    • Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
    • Proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Must possess a valid OK driver’s license
    • Maintain a positive attitude and shows respect by considering the rights and dignity of others
    • Listens empathetically and maintains an objective view in all circumstances
    • Extremely organized and focused professionally to maintain/enhance positive image of Ole Red
    • Thinks creatively to produce new possibilities in all areas of operations
    • Maintains composure to alleviate volatile situations
    • Communicates assertively in a non-aggressive, candid manner 
    • Maintains personal integrity by abiding by and supporting the values and principals of the company


    • ServSafe certificate
    • Valid drivers’ license with a satisfactory driving record
    • CPR certification
    • This position requires a pre-employment drug screening
