Overview

The Website Manager will plan and manage all aspects of Opry Entertainment Group websites in cooperation with on-site teams. The Manager will work closely with each brand, developers, consultants and agencies to maximize the impact of the websites and mobile app(s) as well as ensure that all web properties are search engine optimized.   

Responsibilities

  • Optimize all aspects of desktop, tablet, and mobile versions of Opry websites and apps to drive ticket sales, site visits and engagement. Ensure site and app content is up to date.
  • Plan and manage the design, development, content, maintenance and hosting of OEG websites. Partner with the Ticketing and Retail teams to ensure the customer-facing e-commerce experience is optimized.
  • Assist with building and editing web portions of sponsor/partner promotions, content features. 
  • Perform regular site audits to ensure that all information is up-to-date, as well as displaying and operating properly.
  • Compile, interpret and report website analytics. Identify and recommend changes that will contribute to improved site performance.
  • Participate in the RFP and web development process for all brand website build and redesign projects.
  • Monitor and work with partners to ensure that the Opry information on third party websites (e.g., Nashville CVB, State Dept of Tourism, Trip Advisor) is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintain site security compliance and manage DNS and hosting relationships in partnership with IT department.
  • Perform CSS and HTML updates and manage API integrations between OEG web properties and various platforms.
  • Constantly test and optimize site to improve performance, drive revenue, and decrease site bounce rate. Perform A/B testing as needed.
  • Assist with marketing projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Education:           

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Experience:                 

  • Two or more years related experience.
  • Ability to be independent, yet team-oriented.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to providing high quality work

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with both Drupal and Wordpress
    • Experience with website editing tools, HTML, CSS
    • Working knowledge of API integration and A/B testing of websites
    • Experience with Content Management Systems
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
