The Director, Project Management will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and serve as a critical link across OEG departments to help ensure that we efficiently and effectively operationalize key growth initiatives; ranging from venue expansion to database development, innovative marketing and sales platforms to long-term strategic planning. This individual will ensure projects are delivered on brand, on time, on target, and on budget. The Director, Project Management will also be responsible for formalizing and building out a centralized project management function that will grow in conjunction with the growth of OEG. This may include oversight of contracted third party project managers and/or building an internal project management team.


  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Establish project success criteria and disseminate said criteria to involved parties throughout project
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Identify, with department managers, the required personnel to contribute to assigned projects
  • Effectively communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Set and continually manage accountability related to project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Accountable for project revenue, project profitability, project resources, issues, and project delivery 
  • Proactively identify risk associated with project timeline, target and budget 
  • Develops options and recommendations to avert or mitigate identified risk
  • Communicate project status, including escalation of high risk areas
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments and levels of management within the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a related discipline or equivalent additional experience required
  • MBA preferred


  • 10+ years handling project engagements
  • An established track record of delivering successful projects and building effective project management functions
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills require
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and assignments, to coordinate activities, resources, and planning requirements to ensure timely completion
  • Meticulous attention to detail required
  • Must possess excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)


  • Valid TN Drivers’ License and a satisfactory driving record required.
