This position will assist in all areas of Opry Marketing throughout the internship, including contributing to major interactive, promotional and advertising projects, including publicity, surveys and sponsor activities.
Assist with numerous aspects of Grand Ole Opry Marketing to drive Opry show visitation and sales of Opry House Tours as well as to drive online interaction, brand familiarity, and more.
Interactive Marketing (updating website content, contributing to editorial content including blogs, communicating with artist websites regarding Opry information and offers, online store updates, etc.)
Promotions and Advertising (assisting in development/fulfillment of multi-media promotions and special events including the Opry’s participation in CMA Music Festival and numerous Opry performances, assisting in development of advertising and in assessing advertising options and measuring return on advertising investment)
Working toward bachelor’s degree in related field.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook), Experience with Photoshop a plus, excellent writing, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, passion for hospitality, sales, marketing or business, an interest in sales and/or marketing, highly motivated with strong initiative and good attitude.
In order to qualify for an internship, eligible candidates must be enrolled in a degree program at the time that the internship takes place.
