The Email Marketing Manager will develop and oversee a comprehensive email marketing and customer relationship management strategy for all Opry Entertainment brands. The work will achieve company objectives, grow the customer database, improve customer retention, and drive incremental sales. The Manager will take ownership of customer communications for all OEG brands and business units, and will work closely with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to develop customer acquisition and retention strategies seeing them through to execution and analysis. The Manager will collaborate and communicate frequently with several teams including digital marketing, creative services, IT services, and on-site teams for each brand. This role involves a mix of self-directed and collaborative work.


  • Develop and oversee the execution of a strong CRM strategy that will impact all areas of the business from sales and marketing, to sponsorship and customer service.  
  • Improve the customer experience and drive core business objectives at each stage of the customer journey through email marketing with the end goal of increasing brand loyalty and repeat visitation.
  • Optimize email strategy and results through A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization.
  • Develop and test new email marketing initiatives and work with website manager to ensure a seamless user experience and maximize conversions.
  • Coordinate the design and execution of email communications in cooperation with the creative services and management teams for each individual business unit.
  • Constantly analyze results of email marketing campaigns, provide actionable insights, and adjust the accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance and best practices in email marketing at all times.
  • Identify key customer data-points and ensure that all data is being collected, connected, and properly stored in our CRM system.
  • Maintain close working relationships with on-site teams from all businesses to ensure consistent brand messaging and identify cross-promotion opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



  • BA or BS degree in business, marketing, or related field (e-commerce or computer science or degree a plus)


  • 4+ years of experience in email marketing with hands-on use of an ESP (SalesForce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget, Emma, Campaigner, etc.).
  • Experience with A/B testing, customer segmentation, and personalization
  • Database marketing experience
  • Solid understanding of CRM and experience with CRM strategy
  • Experience with customer journey mapping a plus
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills an absolute must
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Ability to be independent yet collaborative and team-oriented while possessing strong leadership skills
  • Ability to uncover actionable insights from quantitative analysis
  • Strong project management skills required
