Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating revenue, managing the Account Executive team and achieving budgets for the radio station and digital properties.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a quantifiable network of solid relationships with agency planners and clients
  • Motivate account executives toward successfully maintaining strong relationships with local and regional accounts and advertising agencies and achieving individual budgets
  • Work directly with key account executives to close business using multi-platform campaigns to include broadcast, events, and digital assets
  • Effectively manage sales inventory and maximize sales
  • Build and maintain a quantifiable network of solid relationships with agency planners and clients
  • Effectively manage sales inventory and maximize sales
  • Manage local account team, including recruitment and hiring of new Account Executives, coaching, counseling, terminations and performance appraisals. Ensure the Account Executives are well trained to market and sell advertising

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of four years successful experience as a media account executive required
  • Proven ability to coach and lead sales teams and deliver revenue
  • Budget creation and maintenance
  • Digital platforms and attending remote broadcasts
  • Demonstrated history of revenue goal achievement, with consistent growth
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid TN driver license with satisfactory driving record.
