Assist in the product development process by tracking product development samples, managing the sample room, tracking shipments, and assisting in vendor communication.


  • Receive, track and file product development samples within Sample Room
  • Maintain Updates to the Product Development Calendar & Timeline
  • Assist PD team by reviewing incoming design concepts to adherence to brand standards and requirements
  • Maintain and understand brand aesthetic in the development of an innovative product line and brand standard guidelines
  • Assist with Graphic Design concepts and update art within tech packs
  • Attend Buyer Meetings with PD Team as needed
  • Access the competition with respects to trends, marketing, costing and product strategy
  • Ensure appropriate use of trademarks and copyrights.
  • Assist with product photography and product information uploads (and removal as necessary) to the ecommerce sites in a timely manner
  • Must be flexible in accepting assignments and direction, each of which can change to meet the needs of the business at any time.



College degree in Apparel Design, Product Design and Graphic Design and/or Fashion Merchandising.



Knowledge of product development processes and industry trends in accessories, apparel, home goods, giftware, and glassware. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently to ensure deadlines are met. Strong communications skills – both verbal and written with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and enlist support with other management staff, employees and others with whom the company conducts business. Minimum 1 year of experience in product design. Intermediate to expert Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Graphic Design and Flat Sketching skills preferred. Experience with NetSuite preferred. Strong computer skills. Highly creative with the ability to filter such creativity through the reality of brands and consumer. Be knowledgeable of industry and competitive trends; interpret trends for our brands and consumer.
