Overview

Coordinate all aspects of securing rights and fulfilling reporting and payment obligations related to music publishing, union & guild and record label clearances for special projects and exploitation of content. Provide administrative assistance to the Content and Creative Services department.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of sync licensing process for projects including research, cue sheet preparation, license requests, payment, and resolution of publishing percentage disputes.
  • Prepare quarterly statements and check requests for union guild payments for projects under supervision of Content & Creative Services Supervisor
  • Track changes in royalty designation and update address log as needed, search union database for contact information for royalty designees
  • Prepare quarterly statements and check requests for mechanical and digital royalties based on master payment sheet under supervision of Content & Creative Services Supervisor
  • Prepare content licenses using terms provided by Content and Creative Services Supervisor.
  • Track status of licenses and ensure execution. Request invoices and track payment status.
  • Prepare monthly reports related to AFM, AFTRA, Sirius XM and Sound Exchange obligations.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Content & Creative Services Department
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:

  • Knowledge of Grand Ole Opry and Country music artists and history preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience with music publishing and licensing preferred.
  • General understanding of talent union and guild policies and workflows, as well as, media licensing terms.
  • Ability to balance project prioritization and resource allocation to deliver against time commitments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Excellent organization skills.
