The Grand Ole Opry Entertainment group general sales intern will assist sales managers in all areas throughout the internship, including working with clients and groups through leads, site visits, and student performances.
Produce and assist with sales reports
Assist with keeping the group social media sites up-to-date
Manage several databases for each of the sales managers
Conduct sales calls and follow- ups
Assist with student performances
Manage group surveys conducted
Assist with client/lead response
Conduct site visits
Respond to requests, messages and faxes from clients.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working toward bachelor’s degree in related field.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with Photoshop a plus, excellent writing, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for hospitality, sales, marketing or business
An interest in sales and/or marketing
Highly motivated with strong initiative and good attitude
