Leads in the secure technical design, coordination, and implementation of data, video, and, voice connectivity within our environment at Ryman Hospitality Properties
Management of the RHP’s entire network (LAN, WAN, Cloud, Firewall) including best practices, security, installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation required to maintain optimal voice, video, and data network availability and quality of service for business operations.
Manage vendors providing voice, video, and data network services including MPLS, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, network monitoring, consulting services, cable runs, etc. not limited to physical installations.
Oversee automated network and security monitoring solutions (e.g., SIEM, IPS/IDS, Web Content Filtering), in addition to providing ad hoc in-depth analysis of network performance issues using packet / protocol analyzers or other methods. Provide reporting to IT Operations manager on a weekly, monthly basis
Work well independently managing multiple priorities within a small, high-performing team environment using agile methodologies in addition to sharing in rotating on-call duties on or off hours/ support ticketing system
Must be able to develop complex technology network design, administration, and optimization plans and self-manage execution of specific tasks on time and within budget (Manage budget Capex, Opex Forecasting)
Implements and maintains wired, wireless, and cloud network security mechanisms adopted by the organization in addition to auditing network devices to maintain FCC, SOX and PCI compliance not limited to, negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services. Execute monthly, quarterly health checks for all networking equipment and connections. Provide security reporting assist with ongoing security needs as well as work with Internal Audit. Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts through various outlets and continued education.
Provide guidance to junior members of the team to help team growth.
Network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation.

BS in Computer Science or related degree or comparable experience and training
Minimum 10 years voice, video, and data network technology experience
Minimum of 6 years of experience in an IT Administrator or Network Administrator role
Proficiency with IP networking, LAN/WAN technology, firewalls, routing, switching and cabling infrastructure, network facilities, wireless, VLANS, VPN, VoIP, electrical and UPS
Experience with the following technologies: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba/HP, and UCS
Knowledge of DHCP and IP address scopes
Knowledge and utilization of features, functions and capabilities of voice networks and services
Knowledge and ability to design, implement and support wired and wireless data networks hardware, facilities and software
Experience with cloud-based solutions preferred
Must be a Documentation Expert

Cisco Certified Network Professional and/or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCNP/CCDP) or equivalent certification type
