The Director Restaurant Marketing will create innovative global marketing strategies to drive growth and differentiate our Ole Red and Opry City Stage brands.


  • Oversee marketing and brand strategy development, partnering with internal/external resources to develop and execute integrated marketing programs for Ole Red and Opry City Stage locations
  • Oversee development and execution of launch plans and Grand Opening events for all new Ole Red and Opry City Stage locations
  • Drive the analysis of our food and beverage businesses by developing and executing annual and project-based research focused on understanding our consumers and the best way to communicate and drive our brands
  • Partner with cross functional teams to execute with excellence the launch of new Opry Entertainment Group (OEG) venues
  • Work with the leadership of the Opry (Food Trucks), Ryman Auditorium (Café Lula), Opry City Stage and Ole Red to help design marketing, events and PR plans to achieve short and long-term goals
  • Serve as a marketing point of contact for outside agencies, setting and communicating clear direction and monitoring results
  • Work with VP of Marketing and VP of Sponsorship to seek/create new promotional and partnership opportunities for the brands
  • Utilize consumer insights to develop unique brand positions and identity pieces for Ole Red and Opry City Stage
  • Evaluate marketing initiatives to determine profitability and success rate, making recommendations to improve performance or shift the direction
  • Partner with the Artist Relations team to develop value-added strategies that leverage artists within Opry City Stage and Ole Red venues
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising/ Communications or equivalent additional experience required


  • 7 or more years’ experience planning and executing advertising and/or promotions, with a focus on marketing restaurant and entertainment venues

  • Ability to influence others, drive consistent execution, effectively address challenges and lead a team to solutions
  • Strong process, planning, and budgetary/financial skills
