Overview

Plan and facilitate operational training and development programs including divisional orientations, guest service, job skill and safety for operations.  Ensure that operational training programs are prepared and presented appropriately and that established training goals and standards are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, partner and facilitate operational training and development programs for operations to ensure service and products that meet company standards. 
  • Partner with department managers and trainers to develop training materials, tools and processes. Monitor training effectiveness within Operations. Provide coaching to division trainers as needed.
  • Oversee all training and development activities within the assigned operational division to ensure all programs and related activities are appropriate and effective.
  • Assist with selection and development of departmental trainers and the departmental training process to include Train the Trainer certification program.
  • Coach department leaders in maximizing training efforts. Ensure that on-going training and re-training is maintained within daily operations. 
  • Serve as a resource for department leaders in facilitating team effectiveness.
  • Provide and oversee regulatory required training.
  • Model and promote RHP’s Culture including Vision, Values and service standards at all times.
  • Assist with additional training programs as assigned. Promote consistency in operations wide training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years operations experience or three years training experience required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate group sessions effectively required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills required.
