  • Overview

    The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties while partnering closely with HR Management. This position will administer employment policies, practices, research and investigate employee concerns and make recommendations for appropriate solutions that support the company culture that is fair and consistent.  While this role focuses on employee relations and carrying forth the company culture, the HR Generalist will provide support to all HR related disciplines. This position will be required to regularly work weekends and non-traditional business work hours to support the needs of the entertainment venues.

    Responsibilities

    • Positively works with employees and leaders to research, document and resolve employee issues and concerns through coaching, counseling and discipline up to and including separation of employment. 
    • Ensures policies and procedures are implemented fairly throughout the supported business in alignment with our company culture.
    • Assists the HR Manager in assuring legal compliance in all areas including employee relations, and other HR-related disciplines.
    • Assists with the development and implementation of Employee Relations initiatives.
    • Prepares various confidential investigations, reports, and responds to appropriate audits.  
    • Coordinates and facilitates training relative to Employee Relations and Human Resources.
    • Ensures appropriate documentation is completed and gathered for employee relations initiatives.
    • Provides support for all HR related disciplines.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • B.S. Degree in Human Resources or related field required

    Experience:

    • Minimum of two to four years in human resources with a concentration in employee relations and/or recruitment or related field preferred or comparable work experience and/or education. 
    • Must be able to work effectively with others, be innovative and collaborative, possess good judgment and be responsive to change; must possess excellent oral and verbal skills as well as effective interpersonal skills.
    • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Licenses/Certifications:

    • This position requires pre-employment drug screening.
