  • Overview

    Perform various duties within the Retail Warehouse.  Count and inspect quantities of materials and product.  Prepare merchandise for retail locations and shipments, and deliver merchandise as needed. 

    Responsibilities

    • Load and unload large boxes and merchandise onto and off of trucks and vehicles for deliveries to retail locations. 
    • Prepare merchandise for the retail locations, including but not limited to tagging merchandise (barcodes, price stickers); folding apparel (suitable for placement on sales floor); applying security tags; effectively storing back stock, etc.
    • May operate electric and motorized material handling equipment in a safe, accurate and efficient manner, with the ability and willingness to become certified in forklift operation.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.  Discard waste/trash created from work (deliver broken down empty boxes to recycling bin, trash to dumpster).
    • Accountable for incoming inventory counts and correct stocking procedures.  Strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and checking is a must. 
    • May deliver merchandise to the various retail locations. 
    • Assist with physical inventory preparations concerning back stock in retail storage areas.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • High school graduate or equivalent

    Experience:

    • Minimum of two years retail/stockroom experience preferred, basic computer skills required

    Licenses/Certifications:

    • Valid TN Drivers License 
    • This position requires pre-employment drug screening.
