  • Overview

    The Acquisition Marketing Analyst is skilled in data integration and analysis and is critical to driving audience acquisition, customer data capture and growth by developing and maintaining reporting, delivering insightful analyses across all aspects of acquisition funnel metrics and customer trends. This individual has a strong background in and passion for statistics and data analysis while also possessing a keen understanding of digital marketing, funnel metrics, and KPI's.


    1. Develop KPIs, metrics and frameworks for measuring and reporting on conversion rates, channel performance, and marketing effectiveness
    2. Deepen understanding of users and customers through acquisition and churn analyses as well as clustering and segmentation
    3. Conduct analysis to uncover insights about our products and users through cohort analysis, A/B tests, funnel analysis, user segmentation, etc.
    4. Provide insights and make recommendations to improve customer growth based upon data analyses and results, and accelerate current and future business results across OEG brands
    5. Design dashboards and visualizations, summary tables, charts and interactive tools to present ongoing insights and measurement of results
    6. Collaborate with co-workers on tracking and attribution to most effectively measure performance of each channel
    7. Work closely with Research, Strategy and Planning to inform, improve marketing plans
    8. Evaluate marketing initiatives to determine profitability and success rate then make recommendations and adjustments to improve performance or shifts in direction

    • Bachelor’s degree required, in a quantitative, analytical discipline preferred


    • Strong background in statistics and data analysis
    • 4+ years of experience working with and analyzing large data sets
    • Digital marketing analytics experience preferred
    • Diverse platforms experience and work with a customer data platform or CRM system required
    • Experience with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, etc.) required

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities           

    • Advanced Excel skills desired
    • Ability to communicate results clearly
    • Demonstrated focus on driving growth
    • Possesses a keen understanding of digital marketing, funnel metrics, and KPI’s
    • Passion for statistics and data analysis
    • Continuous learner driven to succeed and achieve significant results
