  • Overview

    The Acquisition Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing on strategies to attract, acquire, engage, and monetize audiences for the Company’s various brands.  The work will achieve company objectives, including growth of customer database, improving customer retention, and driving revenue and incremental sales for all OEG brands and channels. This role supports our integrated media strategies and involves a mix of self-directed and collaborative work.


    1. Clearly define and understand best audience targets and opportunities for each marketing campaign in order to optimize ROI and customer experience.
    2. Become expert in Opry Entertainment customer data and maintain full utilization of the Customer Data Platform to accomplish key business objectives and strategies.
    3. Identify key customer data-points and ensure that all data is being collected, connected, and properly stored in our Customer Data Platform.
    4. Assist in development and execution of strong go-to-market plans and programs across multiple digital marketing channels that best leverage available promotional tactics, digital tools and techniques and known audience motivations.
    5. Improve the customer experience and drive core business objectives at each stage of the customer journey with the end goal of customer data acquisition and purchase participation.
    6. Coordinate data acquisition methods at key customer touchpoints such as point of sale, promotions and sweepstakes, websites, and social media.
    7. Optimize strategy and results through A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization.
    8. Develop and test new marketing initiatives and ensure a positive user experience while maximizing conversions.
    9. Coordinate the design and execution of marketing communications in cooperation and alignment with the marketing services, brand definition and experience, and planning and strategy teams.
    10. Coordinate and compare results of marketing campaigns utilizing customer data, provide actionable insights, and adjust accordingly.
    11. Ensure data privacy compliance and best practices in digital marketing at all times.
    12. Maintain close working relationships with all team members to ensure consistent brand messaging, alignment with strategic marketing plans, and cross-promotion optimization.
    13. Perform other duties as assigned.



    • BA or BS degree in business, marketing, or related field (e-commerce or computer science or degree a plus)


    • Experience with A/B testing, customer segmentation, and personalization
    • Database marketing experience
    • Solid understanding of CRM and experience with CRM strategy
    • Experience with customer data management
    • Experience with customer journey mapping a plus

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities           

    • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills an absolute must
    • Basic knowledge of HTML
    • Ability to be independent yet collaborative and team-oriented while possessing strong leadership skills
    • Ability to uncover actionable insights from quantitative analysis
    • Strong project management skills required
    • Drive and commitment to exceed goals in a high-pressure work environment
    • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities and project deadlines
    • Exceptional attention to detail; commitment to providing high quality work
    • Strong computer skills required
    • Strong work ethic a must
