  • Overview

    The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for activities in support Attraction Sales initiatives. This position reports to the DOS but aids the Entire Sales teams. Responsibilities are diverse ranging from administrative functions to client interaction and sales tracking and analysis.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as additional contact for clients requesting initial group based sales collateral. Expeditious and accurate responses to inquiries and leads with a focus on client service will result in incremental sales for Opry/Ryman/Ole Red.
    • Serves as back-up contact for Sales Managers/DOS when they are out of the office, providing valuable continuity for clients. This entails maintaining speaking knowledge of both Event and Group Ticketing policies and procedures so that clients feel confident in the information they receive from this contact.  This position may attend some industry events in conjunction with the Sales team.
    • Accepts and distributes leads to Sales Managers/DOS. Coordinates process to ensure equitable and timely distribution of leads, tracks timing of follow-up and maintains all materials for fulfillment. 
    • Maintains Tripleseat database, including data entry of new or potential clients into the contact management system. Works in the AudienceView ticketing system to generate reports and review orders. This position also needs to be functional in AV ticketing system to ensure information is correct and matches information in Contact Management Tools. Maintains Concierge Database, including set-up and training.
    • Tracks sales contracts and work with service/events team on miscellaneous tasks and follow-up items.
    • Tracks expenses, process invoices, prepare expense reports and maintain attraction sales budget forms.
    • Coordinates FAM and site visit participation for sales team, including preparing sales kits, information and promotional items for the event. Be knowledgeable and prepared to conduct basic site visits as needed when a Sales Manager is unavailable.
    • Coordinates and update sales presentation information for websites, iPads, profile sheets and sales kits.
    • Coordinates and assists with promotions, shows, and events.
    • Provides administrative support as needed and performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field

    Experience

    • At least one year of related experience required
    • Experience with CRM, Microsoft Access and ticketing a plus

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Ability to deal with both internal and external customers
    • Strong leadership qualities, organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks required
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills required

    Licenses/Certifications

    • This position requires a pre-employment drug screening.
