The Concerts Promoter is a member of the Acquisition Marketing team specifically responsible for execution of social, advertising and promotional efforts for OEG concerts, events, tour and brand marketing – focused on Ryman Auditorium, occasionally, Ole Red and Grand Ole Opry. The work will include working with the Concerts Promotion Manager as well as internal Artist Relations, Programming, Marketing and Operational teams; as well as external clients, sponsors, promoters and artist teams to drive ticket sales, create show awareness, and enhance our Company’s brand perception as an excellent concerts’ promoter. This work connects directly with, and supports, Acquisition Marketing’s goals of attracting, acquiring, engaging, and monetizing audiences for the Company’s various brands. This role involves a mix of self-directed and collaborative work.


  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily social content (original text, images, video, HTML, UGC) that increase the visibility the content, builds meaningful connections, improves the customer experience and drives the community to take action, including opt-in and purchase participation.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community. Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, operations, etc.) to respond appropriately to customers, manage reputation and coordinate actions
  • Assist with trafficking paid advertising. based on approved marketing plans. Ensure that creative deadlines are met, providing appropriate information/direction and taking into consideration all parties with approval requirements. Traffic media to ensure that contracted ads and spots are run. Process invoices and compile marketing settlements when necessary.
  • Cover on-site promotions, shows and events, photo/video shoots, artist interviews, red carpets, etc. as needed.
  • Ensure on-site marketing efforts at the Ryman are placed correctly, including digital and static signage, flyers, and other collateral as needed.
  • Ensure that Hatch Show Prints are created for appropriate events, collaborating with internal teams, clients and artists when necessary. Manage Hatch Show print library; logging new items and tracking inventory.
  • Ensure fulfillment of exposure elements of sponsorship agreements and lead the coordination and execution for any sponsor related requests.
  • Maintain close working relationships with all team members to ensure consistent brand messaging, alignment with strategic marketing plans, and cross-promotion optimization.
  • Coordinates various marketing related projects, including, but not limited to development of project timelines and management, communicating and coordinating with key stakeholders, and providing project status updates.



  • BA or BS degree in business, marketing, or related field (e-commerce or computer science or degree a plus


  • 2+ years related experience
  • Concerts marketing experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Basic understanding of graphic design programs Adobe, Illustrator a plus
  • Proof reading experience a plus - copy and ad content

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of the social media universe, including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of web design, web development, content management, CRO and SEO.
  • Ability to be independent, yet collaborative and team-oriented
  • Drive and commitment to exceed goals in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities and project deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail; commitment to providing high quality work
  • Strong work ethic
